Mala Danylivka from the air: damage and destruction

The ring road separates Mala Danylivka from Kharkiv. During the first hours of the invasion, Russian tanks were set ablaze there.

Famed as an equestrian sports complex, the riding school at Malaya Danilovka is a noted example of early 20th-cemtury architecture. The stables and riding school were damaged by the invaders: the horses were successfully evacuated.

The main building of the Kharkiv State Veterinary Academy is also located in Mala Danylivka. Several outbuildings and dormitories were damaged when Russian forces shelled the settlement on 20 June 2022.

Today Mala Danylivka is one of the Top Five locations in the Kharkiv Region for undetonated explosive devices.
